Eddy Street Commons is a mixed-use development adjacent to the University of Notre Dame campus in South Bend, Indiana. The project will contain 90,000 sq. ft. of retail space, 300+ residential units as well as 350 hotel rooms. Eddy Street gets its market support from three distinct segments: South Bend area residents, university students and visitors and downtown office workers. South Bend has over 300,000 residents - the most affluent and well educated are within a 10 minute drive of Eddy Street. There are 22,000 university students in South Bend, including many within walking distance of Eddy Street. There are over 47,000 office workers within a 2 mile radius of Eddy Street, including all the largest employers in the region.
