PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

Kite Realty Group has an opening for a Property Accountant. General requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 2-3 years prior Real Estate Accounting experience, and proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software systems, particularly MRI. Responsibilities include reporting tenant payments received and due; performing account analysis and reconciliation when requested by property managers or tenants; evaluate and monitor terms of new leases, calculate accruals, general ledger posting, real estate taxes and other critical items. This individual will interact with outside auditors, tax accountants, lease administrators, property managers, tenants, and Kite senior management.
